Investigation into Fiber Optic Seismic Sensor incorporating Fiber Bragg Grating Array

This paper presents a theoretical investigation on type of Fiber Optic Sensing system used for seismic monitoring which incorporates an array Bragg Gratings (FBGs) in the sensing medium. An interferometry contains group sub-arrays, every sub-array including plurality interferometry. Each interferometer is realized with particular pair fiber gratings and length optical located between respective gratings. The couple have similar characteristic wavelength that altered from other sub-array. sub-arrays are interconnected to minimize common-wavelength crosstalk among sensors overall array. Our work focuses investigating selection optimum use system. study was performed using state-of-the-art simulation techniques strain temperature changes FBG sensor cumulative results obtained can be help designers produce optimized performance optic hydrophones future. It has been shown 1300nm region gives best this hydrophone
